Data Wizard: Powering Personalized Learning Award

Description: This award recognizes the educator who expertly uses data to tailor instruction, ensuring that every student's unique needs are met with precision and purpose.
Example: The teacher uses data from reading assessments to create differentiated reading groups, targeting each student’s reading level and focusing on skill-building for individual growth.

Digital Artist: Digital Arts Masterpiece Award

Description: Recognizing the fusion of technology and creativity, this award is given to the classroom that showcases outstanding digital art and music creation, fostering student expression through tech.
Example: Kindergarten students collaborate to create custom theme songs for class transitions, using digital tools to compose music that reflects their shared class identity.

AI Innovators: Classroom of the Future Award

Description: This award honors students who effectively demonstrate the use of AI to enhance their learning process, using AI-driven tools to create, explore, and solve real-world problems in a classroom setting.
Example: Students use AI to generate interactive study guides tailored to their learning styles. They collaborate to create a knowledge base where the AI provides real-time feedback and personalized learning pathways for each student.

Young Entrepreneurs: Digital Innovators Award

Tech Trailblazers: Everyday Excellence in Innovation Award

Welcome to the Tech Disruptors competition rubric section! Here, you’ll find detailed criteria that will guide the evaluation of each project. From innovation and creativity to technical execution and real-world impact, the rubric ensures a fair and comprehensive assessment of each entry. Whether you’re a participant or a judge, this section will help you understand the key areas of focus to determine the most disruptive and groundbreaking tech solutions.

Requirements

To participate in the Tech Disruptors competition, educators must design and implement a problem-based project that integrates cutting-edge technology to meet specific learning objectives.

The project should aim to:

  • Promote Innovative Teaching: Encourage the exploration of advanced technological strategies in the classroom.

  • Enhance Student Learning: Increase student engagement and improve learning outcomes through effective tech use.

  • Share Best Practices: Provide a platform for educators to showcase successful strategies and inspire others.

Educators will benefit from professional development, gaining recognition and fostering growth through innovative teaching. This problem-based learning approach encourages hands-on experiences, helping educators deepen their understanding of technology’s impact on learning.

 

Submission Requirements:​

  • Copy and Edit Template: Use the provided template to structure your project plan, and feel free to customize it as needed.
  • 1-2 Minute Video: Submit a concise video demonstrating your project in action, focusing on the innovative use of technology and its effect on student learning.
  • Deadline: Submit the project before January 31, 2026
  • Finalists will be announced on Instagram @techmyschool, with an opportunity to showcase their projects and compete for one of five awards at the Spring Educators Conference on April 2026.
